Furniture Fetish

14 Jan

Oh, the joy of finding the most intriguing of places.
The kind of places you have to search for or be shown. The sunlit rooms showing crowds of dust dancing in the air. Worn walls with stories of things they’ve seen but can never share. Ancient elevators – if you can even call it that as you pull the raising platform up by a rope to get to the second story.

Calen and I were home visiting family when we found one of these places. Our friends had just relocated their furniture store to the newly flourishing downtown Lufkin and we were thrilled to see it!
Little did we know they occupy more than just the bottom floor.. We ventured up two flights to find a room full of old furniture and so many intriguing things!!
Of course, my husband and I turned this into a photo adventure!

Thank you everyone at Furniture Fetish for letting us visit! (and congrats on the new baby!!!)

Yes, it was definitely a blast! The furniture store itself is amazing to go to, but we had no idea that the upstairs was just a little adventure waiting for us!
      Such a fun time 🙂
