Valentine’s Day is coming up and I’ve been casually trying to find ways to sneak little hearts in everything around the house.. 😉
Here’s a big money saving tip – plan your meals before grocery shopping! For me, that generally just means going to my food board on Pinterest and picking out what I want to cook for the week.
I’ve seen people do this MANY ways, but I’ve found the easiest way for me to do it is to take an organizing print out like this and put it in a frame like this girl did, write the recipe’s names down on the glass with a dry erase marker, and just check off the boxes as we make them in no particular order! Easy as pie! (the pre-made kind..)
For the most part, I plan for about 5-7 big meals hoping that leftovers will drag that week out a little longer so that we don’t have to eat Ramen and Hamburger Helper until I get the guts to go to the grocery store again..
