My husband and I tried cooking together tonight! Here are the results..

Nashville

I’m back! Back home, and it feels so good..
In the past month’s time, we’ve been to Texas for 9 days, Tennessee for 3, and North Carolina for 7… It was a blast of course, but I missed my bed and the comfort of my own home so much!

This wasn’t our first time to Nashville, but it definitely was our first time to really enjoy the city, and boy did we! *flashbacks to Karaoke and singing my heart out to Taylor Swift hahaha
We were there for an old friend’s wedding. The day after, we met up with a few friends that we have there and had them show us the town!

We had only met once in real life before this pic, but quickly started following each other online and I honestly just adore this girl! We mainly keep up with each other via Instagram.
I feel like we would be great friends if we lived in the same town. Not only is she gorgeous, but she is just soo sweet 🙂

We had two other friends that we met up with named James Roquemore (center dude) and Rob. They showed us around Nashville a bit 🙂

At one point, James took us to the Pantheon. It had just rain and the sky turned SOOO purple! Calen grabbed this photo of me haha
I didn’t adjust any coloring on it just so you can see how purple the sky was! Crazy.

 

Flower crowns and colorful hair

This weekend my friend Julia and I decided to have a little fun with some hair dye 🙂

My hair is super dark brown, so I bleached the tips and added teal! I’ve never really bleached my hair myself, so I was a little freaked out after hearing many horror stories..
Also, I know you’re not supposed to do this, but I def bleached my hair more than once in a 24 hour time frame… Bad bad bad girl..
Here I am though, with surprisingly undamaged, teal tips!
Side note, during this process, we measured my hair and found it is 21” long.. Sheesh!

Julia dyed her hair soft pink and it’s so super cute and perfect for her!

We then decided to make flower crowns for funzies and photos! More photos to come, but here’s a little sneak preview 🙂

Patrick and Kimberly (The Proposal)

Okay, I don’t think I’ve ever watched a proposal video that I’ve loved so much! Patrick and Kimberly are great friends of ours, so it is so great to see how perfectly this came together!

How good is this video, you ask? Well, let’s just say they had 5,000 views within the first day of it being posted.. It’s not even a week old and they are almost at 20,000 views! How crazy is that?!
It’s just that good 🙂

I’m totally in love with everything about this video, but my favorite part is the end when she is just soo awestruck. It’s the most adorable thing ever! Grab a little tissue and get ready to watch this cute little video!

Florida Film Festival

Florida Film Festival last weekend! It was too much fun 🙂
I had a small little vocal part in a movie called Renee the Movie (http://reneethemovie.com/ umm hello Kat Dennings and Chad Michael Murray!!) so it was neat to see the movie for the first time and watch my name go across the screen in theaters 🙂
My husband played a big part in the movie, ESP with the soundtrack and building the website, so it was a big day for him for sure!!

My friend Katie and I ran outside during the after party and grabbed a few pics of each other haha

Happy Friday!

Today I’m feeling a little extra blessed 🙂 My husband and I have started a new videography project together called White in Revery (whiteinrevery.com) and I honestly am just overwhelmed at how quickly it’s flourishing! We can hardly keep up!

Last night I reread a verse that my dear mother in law sent to me out of the blue. She didn’t know that we were launching this new project the very next day, but she just felt compelled to send it!

“Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord
Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass”
Psalm 37:4,5

White in Revery is something we’ve committed to God from the very beginning. It’s been a lot of work on our end and still is in the baby stages, but each phone call, each email, each time someone contacts us trying to book our services (which happened FIVE TIMES just yesterday!) this verse flashes through my memory. Commit this to the Lord, He will bring the desires of my heart to pass. He’s been proving He means this over and over to me and it’s the greatest feeling 🙂

In other news, I admit to spending too much time on Pinterest yesterday.. Particularly in the women’s apparel section..
After several hours, all I wanted to do was go shopping! Here is yesterday’s buy! Both skirt and top are from Rue 21

My husband and I just finished a new video! This couple was looking for something a little less traditional for their engagement shoot…
When they mentioned they wanted to incorporate powder paint, we couldn’t have been more excited!
